Construction of waste incineration plants
Objective
Delivery of smoke exhausters (12 pcs.), fans (36 pcs.), noise mufflers (12 pcs.) and servicing platforms for the federal project of construction of 4 waste incineration plants under license from Hitachi Zosen INOVA. Strict compliance with all technical requirements and customer documentation (1000+ pages).
Smoke exhausters have a non-standard design with two motors. All forced-draft fans (including between-bearing smoke exhausters) are to be mounted on common metal pedestals with an antivibration base. Installation of equipment on metal beams at 10 m of elevation.
Solution
A rigorous two-stage technical audit by representatives of Rosatom and Hitachi Zosen INOVA was successfully passed.
We were the only Russian manufacturer of smoke exhausters that met all the requirements of the licensor and the customer. Within the context of designing the equipment, new aerodynamic configurations were developed with the aim of achieving maximum efficiency at operating points of every forced-draft fan.
In order to ensure the equipment’s reliability, unique design and process solutions were implemented in the engineering and manufacturing of impellers.
Result
Despite the difficulties that arose in 2022 with importing foreign-made components, we supplied a complete set of equipment for all 4 facilities. A fit-up assembly and acceptance of all 48 sets was carried out in the presence of the customer.
The forced-draft fans for the first waste incineration plant have been fully commissioned and their performance parameters were confirmed, the rest of FDFs are currently being installed.
