KMZ has extensive experience in replacing smoke pumps and exhausters of induration machines using leading technologies.

An important factor in the reliability of the induration machine is the resistance of the smoke pumps to abrasive wear. For smoke pumps of the DRGD series, already at the design stage of the flow part, the dispersion of the moving medium, avoiding separation of particles and strengthening the elements of the abrasive flow zone with modern materials are considered.

Deliverables:

  • Increasing the yield of the pellet;
  • Reducing energy consumption;
  • Resistance increasing to abrasive and chemical wear;
  • Unification of existing equipment;
  • Installation of the equipment with reference to the existing foundation and flues.

Blast furnace

In order to reduce the impact of metallurgical production on the environment, aspiration systems based on various types of filters are used for cleaning blast furnace gases. The reliability and quality of the aspiration operation largely depends on the stable operation of the draft machines that collect and move gases through the system.

The KMZ plant developed a special series of modern smoke exhausters with the following advantages for aspiration of casting yards and high-line bunkers of blast furnaces:

  • High efficiency of the smoke pump ensures minimal energy consumption for a given volume of gas;
  • Through the use of efficient aerodynamic schemes
  • and modern materials we achieve high resistance to abrasive wear of the flow part of the smoke pump;
  • Using the optimal design of the FDU allows you to evenly distribute the loads on the supports and bearings, which ensures high reliability and long service life of the equipment;
